1) Our services

The website describes, in general terms, the intelligence, advisory and training services we offer. That description is not an offer. Our services are provided only to organisations, and only under a separate written agreement such as a licence agreement, engagement letter or statement of work. No client, advisory or other professional relationship is created by using the website or by contacting us, unless and until such an agreement is signed.

We do not act for private individuals and do not provide private investigation services.

2) Information, not advice

Content on the website, including any research we publish, is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax or security advice, and it is not a substitute for your own analysis or for advice from a suitably qualified professional. Assessments and attributions reflect the information available to us at the time and may change. We do not guarantee that content is accurate, complete or current, and you should not rely on it as such.

3) Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, graphics, the Pangolin Intelligence name and mark, and any published research, are owned by Pangolin Intelligence or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view the website and print or save extracts for your personal or internal business reference, and you may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link to the source. You may not otherwise reproduce, redistribute, sell or commercially exploit content from the website, or use it to train machine-learning models, without our prior written permission.

Third-party names and logos shown on the website, including those of organisations we are members of, contribute to or work with, belong to their respective owners and are displayed with permission. No licence to use them is granted.

4) Acceptable use

You must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, the systems that serve it, or any related systems or data;
• interfere with the operation or availability of the website, or introduce malicious code;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the website, other than through ordinary search-engine indexing;
• use the website or its content to impersonate us, or in any way that is unlawful, defamatory or misleading.

Security researchers who find a vulnerability in the website may report it to security@pangolinintelligence.com. We ask that you act in good faith, avoid accessing or altering data that is not yours, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before disclosing it.

5) Third-party links

The website contains links to third-party websites and services, including messaging services such as Telegram. We do not control those sites or services, and a link does not mean that we endorse them or are responsible for their content, availability or conduct. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and is subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

6) Availability and warranties

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the website will be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that its content is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

7) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the website or your reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you in connection with the website is limited to one hundred Singapore dollars (S$100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law. Liability arising under any written agreement for our services is governed by that agreement, not by these terms.

8) Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on the website with its effective date. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

10) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them.
